How to solve errors in SUSE Linux Enterprise 10/ VMware?

New to VMware vSphere Client, created an environment for SUSE Linux Enterprise 10, installed SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 as OS and everything works fine until reboot, get following errors:

RAMDISK: Counldn’t find a valid RAM disk image starting at 0.
VFS: Cannot open root device “sda1″ or unknown-block(0,0)
Please append a correct “root=” boot option
Kernel panic – not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

Need some explanation regarding the errors and explantion to the solutions, i’m still new to it : ) thanks
