Could be problematic unless you’re designing a purely theoretical application. These sorts of processes normally act upon huge amounts of data (often in the terabyte range), so getting your database together for a practical project is probably not an easy task. For a theoretical application, just think of something useful. For example, an analysis of purchasing patterns for a credit card company to identify anomalies that might indicate possible fraud.
