I need the drivers to install XP on the new computer I have and I don’t want any hardware problems later so I want to find those hardware drivers. The hard drive was formatted completely , so I need to find those drivers. Where can I get the driver ? I am getting them for my Pavilion d4595.se
Go to HP’s download site see if you can install drivers from computer manufacturer. Good chance. You can also go to Microsoft’s Download Center do search for Windows XP drivers that has lot of data to assist you.
HP website for and go to troubleshooting and you can find all the drivers
Well Guy, ya’ kinda did that backwards; ya’ shoulda saved the drivers before the format; then you’d have ‘em.
But, IF you have the ‘restore’ disk (aka ‘System Recovery’) they should be there…I think there might be a separate disk with the ‘drivers’, but not sure.
Failing that, try the mfgr’s site for XP drivers & your model #.
Tip: After you get all the drivers in & working, back up your drivers to a separate CD!
It gets harder and harder to find them, and many places charge to get them.
Try Driver Magician Lite (freeware);

Use the ‘identify & back up all drivers’ for the first BU; & keep it with your unit.
Ordinarily you go to HP.com/Support, and look up this computer, then go to the Download page, and download the drivers. I can’t find anything about the Pavilion d4595se on HP.com/Support. Couldn’t find anything for a Pavilion dv4595se, or Pavilion dv4595 either, in case you made a mistake, and this is a laptop.
I did find this,

,but that was just a hit on Pavilion d4595se. I’m gathering, this is a desktop computer.
That was trying to answer your question, as you posed the question. Find you the drivers for your computer.
Now, to install XP on a new computer, you just pop the full installation disk in your optical drive tray.
Doesn’t work?
You need to go into your BIOS Setup,
look in Boot Options,
and set the First Boot Device to CDROM.
This way, your computer will look in your optical drive for the boot device first, THEN go to your harddrive if it can’t find one.

(Suggest you try the F1, F2 or Delete key. Remember, if the key doesn’t work, you have to start all over. For example: You cannot press the F1 key, find it doesn’t work, then immediately press the F2 key to try IT. You need to restart your computer, THEN try the F2 key.
An easy way to restart your computer when you’re at this point,
is to,
Press the CTRL and ALT and Delete keys -> AT THE SAME TIME)
Edit: Should have read the question a little closer, huh? DRIVERS the man says! I need DRIVERS! My Bad!
